Course Goals

Systems engineering is an essential part of engineering activities, as it defines the global architecture of a system and allows the enterprise-wide collaboration and co-engineering. It’s the reason why teaching Systems Engineering or Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) should start by presenting the main stakes of engineering.

But teaching Systems Engineering must also be concrete. By including a presentation of Arcadia methodology and practicing the Capella tool on concrete case-studies, students will better understand how theory can be put into practice.

As Capella is open-source, your students can freely access to an industrial-grade MBSE tool during the course and after.
